Junior Full Stack PHP Developer

Socxo is a leader in promoting the concept of "advocacy marketing" in the USA, Europe, and India, with 50+ brands as customers. We are seeking a PHP developer who is passionate about building high-quality apps for workflow applications and integrations with business, financial, and e-commerce apps.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain a server-side web application using PHP or the Laravel framework.
• Design and implement database schemas using MySQL.
• Optimize database performance.
• Create responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and jQuery/JavaScript.
• Integrate front-end and back-end components to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Implement and consume RESTful APIs for effective communication between different components of the application.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth and JWT for secure access control.
• Deploy and manage the developed web applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Integrate billing, e-commerce functionality, payment gateways, and third-party integrations for business requirements.

Mandatory skills

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in PHP, MySQL, and front end – CSS and jQuery/JavaScript.
• Experience with Vue.js or React.js is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• Experience working with REST API, OAuth, and JWT.
• Knowledge of AWS services for web application deployment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Added advantage: understanding/experience with e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce or Shopify and payment gateway integrations such as Stripe.

Location: Coimbatore, with work from home for the first 3-4 months before moving to work from office.
